New report: The Politics of Waste
I've just complete a report on the problems of getting waste facilities through the planning process. I know that doesn't sound terribly exciting, but it does raise issues about how people view private companies and politicians - ie, issues of trust - and the practical problem of getting on with doing things in the face of junkscience.

I appreciate your point of view and mention of trust. In my experience trust is an underlying issue for much of what we experience in the world. Most people do not understand the components of trust-- it is not an on/off switch, but instead a matter of degree. If we understood just what we could and could not trust specific organizations, groups or individuals for, we could more easily determine how to best work with. I've just discovered your blog and enjoy the read.
